Add a file to a message and ask about it: summarize it, find something in it, or check it.
Add a file
VanZen takes photos, PDF, DOCX, and TXT files.
- Tap + (on the web or Mac, drop the file on the window).
- The box now says What should I do with this file? Type what you want and send.
The text of a file is read on your device first. In vMask Chat, its personal details become vMasks before anything is sent, the same as a typed message.
Long files: Read the whole file
A long file is first read in part. When VanZen offers Read it in full, it can read the whole file in the background.
- Tap Read the whole file.
- While it works you see Reading your file. You can keep chatting.
- When it says Your file is ready, tap View.
Reading a whole file needs Plus or Pro.
Limits
- Each plan has a number of files and photos a month. Free has the fewest; Pro has no monthly limit.
- Adding two files to one message needs Plus.
- A very long file may be cut to fit what your plan can read at once.
